This Bavarian King Cake is filled with a smooth, creamy, Bavarian custard that pairs perfectly with our cinnamon-and-vanilla three-day Danish dough. Soft, tender, and subtly sweet, it’s a luxurious twist on the classic New Orleans favorite.
Each cake comes with a DIY decorating kit including vanilla icing, Mardi Gras sugars, and a plastic baby.
All shipments include the “Traditions of New Orleans” brochure, a fun guide featuring Mardi Gras facts, New Orleans cuisine, fine restaurants, king cake history, and two authentic doubloons.
Yields roughly 30 one-inch slices.

The delivery box was left on our porch on edge, despite the fact the box warns “Cake inside. Stack flat. Do not crush.” The entire cake was pushed against one edge of the inner box. The frosting bag had landed on a portion of the cake and forced out the Bavarian cream filling. It was a total mess. Inexcusable for a $38 shipping charge.
But, my wife and I, being positive minded, sort of reconstructed the pieces, iced over the damage,
color sugared it, and enjoyed our first slices. It is delicious and, as fate would have it, I found the baby Jesus in my slice, which I cut from the most damaged area. Rating would have been 5 stars if the cake had arrived in the condition advertised on your web site.
